Janssen Inc. is looking to fill a Manager, Health Economics & Reimbursement position in our Government Affairs and Market Access (Access) Department located in Toronto, Ontario.
Overview and Responsibilities
Develop & implement market access strategies from a health economics perspective for products in the Virology Portfolio. This will include:
Management of health economic projects (database analysis, outcomes research studies, resource consumption analysis, surveys, literature searches, patient-preference studies, model studies, etc.)
Prepare reimbursement submission, reports and other materials to support the value communication to decision makers and payers based on clinical and economic data
Collaborate with Government Relations and Community Relations to ensure that alignment and implementation of regional reimbursement strategy
Present the data of the reimbursement submission and messages to Canadian payers and other customers
Lead and facilitate advisory boards to test reimbursement data and messages
Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Marketing and Regulatory to support brand objectives and achieve reimbursement objectives
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in life sciences with post graduate degree or MBA considered an asset
At least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or health related industry
Experience in adaptation of global reimbursement submissions/ dossiers to Canadian reimbursement requirements, experience in working with global and cross functional teams
Experience in interactions with Canadian payers and key opinion leaders
Good understanding of the pharmaceutical lifecycle management
Good understanding of health economics, biometrics, study design & methodology
Understanding of modeling required in developing budget impact analyses and database studies
Good commercial acumen and leadership competency
Ability to be proactive and creative to address emerging issues
High degree of self awareness and ability to adapt in a changing environment
