Narrative Description
Reporting to the Head of Air Traffic Management Charges, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of initiatives to address cost efficiency and cost reductions in Air Traffic Control (ATC) charges and Air Traffic Management (ATM). The incumbent will work in close cooperation with the regional SFO staff to prioritize work areas and provide expert support.
Responsibilities
Support the Head of ATM Charges and the Director ATM Policy and Strategy to develop a comprehensive strategy for cost efficiency and cost reductions relating to ATC charges and ATM.Manage airline working group on ATC charges and related matters.Co-ordinate with the SFO Regional Co-ordination Groups on ATM financing and investment.Develop IATA's positions, tools, processes and databases on ATC charges matters and the prioritization of campaigns.Work in close coordination with other IATA Divisions, in particular the airport charges team in APCS.Support the SFO regional teams and develop capabilities and skills development.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration or Political Sciences or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of international working experience relating to ATC cost management and associated experience of ATM operations.Sound understanding of ANSP charging and business models.
  • Sound leadership and management experience in a multicultural and international environment.
  • Excellent networking, team-building and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams and to foster collaboration across functional and cultural lines.
  • Fluency in English is essential, whilst knowledge of other languages would be an asset.
