The Supply Chain and Pricing Senior Financial Analyst role provides financial and business support within key areas of Gross Profit including Pricing, Returns, Product Costs and other key product related costs. This role works closely with a variety of business and financial partners including Sales and Marketing Finance, Pricing Team, Supply Chain, Logistics and Trade Relations.
Collaborate with key business partners (as above) to provide gross profit variance drivers and
identify risks and opportunities vs key financial benchmarks,
Help co-ordinate the year-end close process for the respective areas of accountability and work
with business partners to achieve annual targets,
Support Trade Relations group with Sales Trending and Inventory analytics,
Work closely with the Pricing team to develop Pricing recommendations (annually), assess risks
vs Regulatory Pricing requirements and complete statutory pricing-related submissions,
Work closely with Tax team to project and assess Transfer Pricing implications,
Key financial lead supporting internal and external audits within the areas of Supply Chain and
Logistics,
Support SAP Material Master maintenance including set-up of new products,
Take initiative to identify, plan and execute costs savings/avoidance and process improvement
projects,
Co-ordinate the month end closing process, including account reconciliations, journal entries,
reporting and providing variance analysis vs key financial benchmarks,
Plan and prepare submissions to both Corporate and Sourcing groups for Gross Profit data,
including product costing, CNIS, systems adjustments and inventory,
Lead the development, consolidation and variance analysis for Gross Profit and consolidation for
forecasts, business plans, latest estimates and quarter calls.
Qualifications
Qualified Accounting Designation or actively pursuing (CA, CMA, CGA, CPA).
Customer focused; able to build strong partnerships with internal customers.
Able to present complex information clearly and concisely to clients of all levels (written/verbal).
Able to perform complex business and technical analysis.
Demonstrated problem solving skills.
Strong planning and organizing abilities.
Resourceful and independent, thrives in a changing, challenging environment.
Proven skills in effectively influencing and managing change.
PC skills, especially Excel. SAP experience an asset.
3-5 years of work experience, Supply Chain experience would be an asset
