GENERAL SUMMARY
Duties can include installing/configuring an operating system and patches, installing and administrating one system/environment and identifying and documenting deficiencies in the product for the eLab engineering environment.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow an existing test plan and document test results
Be able to install/configure an operating system (basic devices) and patches
Ability to install and administer one system/environment
Be able to configure one or two of the EMC products deployed in the test configuration (i.e. switches, arrays)
Ability to identify deficiencies in the product and document them
Follows standard engineering practices under the direction of others.
Performs other duties as required
SKILLS
Ability to work in a team environment.
Proficiency in hardware, software and/or operating systems environments.
Communication skills.
Problem solving skills.
