Johnson and Johnson Inc. is currently looking to fill 2 positions (12 month contract) in Field Sales in Lower Mainland and Surrounding Area based in Vancouver, BC.
The Territory Manager, Oral Health Care will be responsible for the selling of our Johnson & Johnson oral health care products and services. The Territory Manager will make sales calls against targeted dental professionals, develop key opinion leader (KOL) support of Oral Health Care brands, co-ordinate strategic CHE events and support conference activity.
Major Responsibilities:
Deliver sales targets and share of recommendation targets through effective implementation of the sales and marketing strategic plans
Develop an annual business plan for managing and developing key customers (forecast on activity and plan of action, customer segmentation, selling through promotions, setting protocols and providing training requirements)
Liaise/network with dental industry partners (e.g. dentists, periodontists and dental hygienists)
Effectively manage sample and literature inventories
Presentation of Lunch and Learn/CHE events, conference participation
Complete administrative responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner (contact management system, budgets)
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Minimum University Degree in life sciences, business or equivalent business experience.
Minimum 3 years experience in the Oral Health Industry
Strong understanding the Canadian Oral Care marketplace and KOL interactions
Strong patient, dental and industry knowledge
Professional selling experience
Transactional selling experience
Training, teaching and/or consulting experience an asset
85% in field activity, 15% overnight travel (including meetings and territory requirements)
Competencies:
Excellent presentation and written/spoken communication skills
Excellent selling skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong ability to develop and maintain interdependent relationships
Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrated leadership skills and entrepreneurial abilities

Strong computer skills
Proficiency in territory and budget management
Ability to analyze, understand & effectively communicate Scientific Clinical Papers & Abstracts
Superior time management and organizational skills.
