Are
you a competitive over achiever? An aggressive sales "hunter"?
Individuals in this role are responsible for the sale of SAS offerings
to both prospective and current SAS clients through the telephone. The
top priority for this role is to over achieve sales quota. There is
also a high level of outbound prospecting into potential accounts across
territories, geographies and verticals.
Major Responsibilities:
· Aggressively pursues and achieves a minimum of 100% of assigned sales target
· Effectively prospects, qualifies, aligns resources, negotiates and closes sales opportunities via the telephone
· Effectively sells in a team based environment - excellent communication and cross teaming skills
· Manages sales pipeline and maintains a minimum of (3x) three times the quarterly sales target.
· Prioritizes efforts, maintains high volume of calls,
identifies opportunities with "high" close potential and closes
transactions (25 cold calls per day)
· Builds professional relationships with customers on and
on-going basis, such that SAS is recognized as a strong brand and
quality customer service organization.
· Works co-operatively with supporting internal resources - Alliances, Marketing, Sales/Pre-Sales, Sales Support Centre.
· Develops and maintains knowledge of SAS tools, packaged
services and other offerings at a level necessary to sell them via
telephone.
· Prepares short proposals, completes all necessary paperwork to undertake sales and licensing of product or service.
· Updates the CEC (SAS internal customer database)
