Reporting to the Manager of Online Marketing, this role will be responsible for overseeing online revenue through the MyVega web store as well as other online channels. The successful candidate will create e-commerce marketing strategies for optimizing direct and indirect revenue, increasing new customer acquisition and work cross functionally with the Trade, Creative and Sales teams. Management of Google Adwords, optimization of landing pages and reporting through Google Analytics will be the core of this role.You take customer service seriously, but have fun at work with the Vega team! Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce Strategy- Rapidly grow traffic and online sales
- Develop and forecast quarterly targets
- Manage promotional calendar and upsells
- Optimize conversion of eStore on desktop and mobile
- Oversee our ambassador and influencers purchase program
- Affiliate channel management and growth
- Update content and banners throughout the eStore
- Manage our rewards system and develop loyalty program
- Work with Customer Experience team to enhance the overall customer experience
- Work with developers to enhance user experience in our eStore
- Reduce cart abandonment
- Landing page optimization to enhance user behavior, promotional effectiveness and landing page design
- Research and generate keywords using keyword tools. Maintain keyword library including relevant short and long tail keywords of key products
- Audit and make recommendations on Google Adwords campaigns including re-targeting
- Provide strategy and content for landing pages, banner ads and CTAs across Vega’s websites
- Regular reporting on ad conversion with recommendations for optimization
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years direct eCommerce experience (Magento experience an asset)
- Expert level understanding of Google Analytics
- Hands on experience with HTML/CSS
- Exceptional project management skills
- Well-versed with developing and split-testing landing pages
- Solid understanding of current Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices and implementation
- Proficient with affiliate marketing strategies and channel growth (Commission Junction experience an asset)
- Highly proactive and able to research and present solutions to complex online marketing obstacles
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and draw conclusions to recommend alternative courses of action
- Experience working with web development teams
- Loyalty program experience an asset
