Software Architect post

Posted by Unknown on 23:31 with No comments
I’m looking for an accomplished juggler. This is a fast moving, multi-project environment that needs a detail oriented, architecturally strong software developer with the capacity to lead and design the technical components of a project and mentor other developers on a project basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with the technology, project management and account teams to define deliverables and create cost and timeline estimates
  • End-to-end development and implementation of applications from architecture and design through development to deployment and maintenance (including approx. 50% coding)
  • Significant contribution to design relating to issues of reusability, maintainability and performance
  • An active role in meetings with both internal and client side teams
  • Allocating work and supervising delivery from team of 2-5 developers

Qualifications:
  • 10 years of progressive experience in a broad range of web and n-tier application development
  • Experience leveraging web frameworks such as ASP.NET MVC, PHP, or Ruby on Rails
  • Excellent knowledge of relational databases and database applications (SQL Server)
  • Experience leading small teams of developers delivering projects in C#/SQL/.Net
  • Solid understanding of development process and strategies (ie: TDD, unit tests, domain driven design)
  • Above average analytic, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
  • Ability to work in a detail-oriented fashion without losing sight of the overall picture
  • Superlative teamwork and interpersonal skills

At Klick we’ve been heard to say it’s 100% about skills and 100% about fit so I guess I can get away with saying that in the end I’m less picky about what tools you know right now (if you’re OK with ours) than I am about what you’ve accomplished with them for your clients, how smart you are and how well you adapt.
re passionate about what you do and what we do sounds like it might fuel that passion even more then you know what to do next.
Look forward to hearing from you.
