I’m looking for an accomplished juggler. This is a fast moving,
multi-project environment that needs a detail oriented, architecturally
strong software developer with the capacity to lead and design the
technical components of a project and mentor other developers on a
project basis.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the technology, project management and account teams to define deliverables and create cost and timeline estimates
- End-to-end development and implementation of applications from architecture and design through development to deployment and maintenance (including approx. 50% coding)
- Significant contribution to design relating to issues of reusability, maintainability and performance
- An active role in meetings with both internal and client side teams
- Allocating work and supervising delivery from team of 2-5 developers
Qualifications:
- 10 years of progressive experience in a broad range of web and n-tier application development
- Experience leveraging web frameworks such as ASP.NET MVC, PHP, or Ruby on Rails
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases and database applications (SQL Server)
- Experience leading small teams of developers delivering projects in C#/SQL/.Net
- Solid understanding of development process and strategies (ie: TDD, unit tests, domain driven design)
- Above average analytic, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
- Ability to work in a detail-oriented fashion without losing sight of the overall picture
- Superlative teamwork and interpersonal skills
