Position Summary
Provide a passion for the discipline of search engine marketing and analytics with a desire for operational excellence. Provide leadership within our team and with our clients to develop best in class development and execution of paid search campaign analysis and ongoing optimization. Lead the development of capabilities across the agency.  Responsible for managing all search opportunities including Google Display Network and YouTube.

Years of Expertise: 5+ years’ experience in a search marketing role

Essential Job Functions:
  • Provide strategy and leadership for our clients.
  • Responsible for designing, building and the ongoing management of paid search programs
  • Provide thought leadership through strategic and tactical input to client teams for successful management of SEM campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Client Service Teams, Creative Services Teams and Media for campaign alignment on client objectives
  • Oversee the strategy development, project management, report delivery, and client communication.
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary department to maximize the use of search management tools to provide strategic and expert direction to the Planning Team with ROI and user search behavior analysis and insights.
  • Direct the continued optimization of paid search campaigns to improve overall conversion rates and cost-per-conversion activity and continually strive to raise the level of SEM strategies.
  • Develop key insights for quarterly and year over year analysis and insights reported to the client and client teams.  
  • Develop best practices, standards and processes for SEM.
  • Lead search marketing best practices, staying current with industry innovations and trends, best practices and identifying relevant opportunities to support business objectives.
  • Have a strong understanding of organic search and SEO best practices
  • Expert in the use of Google Analytics,
  • Experience of running campaigns on the Google Display Network and YouTube
  • Currently possess Google AdWords certificates
  • Google Advertising Fundamentals - required
Google AdWords - Search Advertising – Advanced - preferred
Google AdWords - Display Advertising – Advanced – preferred
  • Google Analytics IQ - preferred
