Description

Working within the Information Technology group, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple, cross functional projects and initiatives with a heavy emphasis on exploiting technology to enable business transformation and speed to value. The suitable candidate will be well versed in project management standards and processes, with proven ability to identify and lead strategic initiatives through the various stages including analysis, requirements definition, planning, execution, and closure. Seasoned experience in a technical environment, exceptional facilitation, high-caliber communication skills, and attention to detail are a must.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with management and other team members to lead highly skilled, cross-functional teams (software developers, IT operations, vendors, business stakeholders and consultants) across one or more projects with aggressive timelines
  • Manage key strategic internal client relationships with project stakeholders and senior management, and interact at a high level with decision-makers both internally and externally
  • Drive project requirements, priorities and deadlines and provide portfolio master project planning to ensure project deliverables are met according timelines and budget
  • Prepare and present progress reports
  • Contribute to the adoption of project management standards, processes and tools
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested

Qualifications:
  • ScrumMaster, PMI Certification (or equivalent) and/or PRINCE designation
  • Lean Six Sigma methodology an asset
  • Minimum 5 years Project Management experience
  • Strong technical background, extensive experience with Atlassian Jira Agile or other portfolio tools
  • Team Player who is highly motivated and detail oriented and fun to work with
  • Experience working within a fast pace environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fabulous customer service acumen
  • Must demonstrate a willingness to learn, have a desire to improve on a daily basis
