We are currently looking for a Human Resources Specialist (ComOps, 12 months) Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Human Resources Specialist (ComOps, 12 months), will have the responsibility, in particular, of administering, coordinating and training for certain compensation-related activities and establishing controls to ensure the conformity of the data in our systems. The incumbent will also support the business partner with the Directors, Finance, Legal Affairs and Management Information Systems in the management of organizational priorities and decision-making in HRM matters. He will also answer employees’ questions and support the Managers, Human Resources and the Vice-President on different files or projects. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Human Resources Specialist (ComOps, 12 months) will also act as a Compensation Specialist and HR Superuser. He will ensure the efficient operation of the manual or automated management information systems for his organizational sector. In addition, he must provide support when implementing any upgrades the company requires to optimize its business processes. Summary of tasks: • Support the Director, Human Resources in all management of HR needs and activities (needs analysis, organizational structure, performance management, disciplinary follow-up, current administration, etc.) with employees and managers, for Finance, Legal Affairs and MIS; • Administer and support certain compensation programs (position evaluation process, GJFA, increase in salary scales, commission plan, pay equity maintenance, etc.) for Sandoz Canada; • Take charge of the year-end process (communication with the managers, updating performance scores in the system, salary increases and bonuses, transfer of final recommendations to Payroll, etc.); • Ensure the integrity and conformity of the data in our different systems: o regular audit on the update in the HR systems (new hires, change of status, etc.); • Provide various training related to compensation, benefits and retirement plan. • Organize information sessions on the Employee Assistance Program; • Conduct various salary surveys with other companies to ensure that Sandoz remains competitive in the market; • Implement Global’s various requests regarding interfaces with our systems and collaboration with MIS. (SAP, First Port, time management system, etc.); • Document problems, making corrections and communicating changes to the users; • Assist the MIS Analyst in the implementation of new management system functionalities; • Ensure the integrity of master files and data; • Train the users continuously so that they are autonomous in dealing with information systems operations and business processes; • Participate in projects (process reengineering, writing policies and procedures, system improvement, etc.). | |
| Bachelor's degree in industrial relations or human resource management Five (5) to eight (8) years’ similar experience; Rigorous administrative approach and solid analytical and problem-solving abilities; Excellent mastery of use of the Microsoft Office suite (very advanced Excel) and solid computer skills in benefits and HRIS; Knowledge of the SAP system is an advantage; Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written Ability to manage several projects simultaneously under pressure, in a context of change; High degree of integrity and confidentiality, great discretion; Superior communication and interpersonal relations skills; Great autonomy, good judgment and sense of priorities.
