We are currently looking for a Human Resources Specialist:

The Human Resources Specialist ensures strategic support and advice to the internal customers under its responsibility with regard to the various HR programs. S/He develops confidence within his group and acts as a mentor to managers while promoting programs for Human Resources Management, best business practices and is responsible for the implementation of various HR initiatives to meet specific business objectives. S/He also acts as a point of contact for the HR TechOps Team.

Summary of tasks:
- Acts as a point of contact within the Human Resources TechOps Team to support other members in their daily tasks and more complex cases and ensure continuous development and improve the HR offers with customers.
- As an expert, takes the lead to advise and support managers in the positive management of working relationships with staff. S/he participates in the planning and establishment of policies and objectives of activities related to labor relations. S/He manages the Grievance Committee and represents the Company as a senior partner with the union in the labor relations committee. S/He coordinates, prepares and assists prosecutors with cases (complaint / grievance or other appeals) in administrative courts.
- Recommends and implements initiatives related to change management, employee engagement and effective coaching methods in coordination with the Human Resources Director. With the TechOps Directors, builds succession plans recommending appropriate development plans to fulfill key positions and provide long-term succession.
- Acts as a point of contact for managers, providing advice and recommendations for full performance management, including the development of objectives, performance measures, monitoring plans to improve performance and skills development plans and the disciplinary process.
- Actively participates in the recruitment of management positions during interviews and prepares salary recommendations. Advises and supports managers in establishing optimal organizational structure.
Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial Relations. Member of the ORHRI would be an asset;
8 to 12 years of experience;
Good knowledge of the law of labor standards (ALS);
Good level of French and English;
