We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst. Reporting to the BPA Tech Ops Manager, the Financial Analyst is responsible for internal support of the Technical Operations group. The position's principal role is to support the company's budget and forecasting processes and coordinate the annual review of standard costs. The position also supports the finance department in improving internal processes and produces analyses of month-end results as well as those requested for special projects. As a member of the Tech Ops analysis group, the position also entails the performance of various analyses and monitoring of production positions. Summary of tasks: Budgetary financial support: Together with the client groups (OPS & Quality Control); Coordinates and develops the initial budget (TGT) as well as revised (LE) and estimated weekly (LO) budgets; Runs meetings, such as budget challenging sessions, ad hoc analysis, etc.; Coordinates the annual review of STD costs (Produces the schedule of activities, performs the necessary follow-up, produces the analyses required to develop various rates); Supports the month-end process (ensures the integrity of information intended for Global, payroll analysis, etc.); Performs the analyses required for special projects (Business Case, Pro-Forma, etc); Miscellaneous: Collaborates on special departmental projects and assists members of the BPA TechOps team in other related fields. | |
