Weyburn Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for an experienced lending professional. This position will report directly to the Vice-President of Lending and the successful candidate will be responsible to provide leadership, mentoring, coaching, and direction to the consumer lending team. As well, the position is responsible to develop and maintain the consumer loan portfolio; to provide a high level of sales and service to borrowing members through analysis and documentation; and to develop new business.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 -7 years of proven lending experience with a strong emphasis on consumer and residential mortgage lending including a minimum of two years of management experience within the financial industry.
- Solid working knowledge and thorough understanding of the legal and legislative requirements associated with lending.
- Solid understanding of CMHC lending.
- Demonstrated ability to set and achieve sales targets working in a sales and service environment.
- Proven ability to lead, develop, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to mediate, persuade, influence, and negotiate.
- Proven track record of developing strong internal and external relationships, both individually and in a team environment.
