We have an opportunity for an experienced leader in the role of Branch Manager. Responsibilities include:

o Leading a dynamic team in the management and profitable growth of a full financial service operation within the Brentwood market.

o Business development through relationship-building activities and promotion of Island Savings in the community.

o Ensuring that the Branch activities are aligned with our corporate objectives by incorporating the Vision and Guiding Principles into decision making.

o Full range of performance management including Key Performance Indicator development, goal setting, coaching, development, and evaluating performance; motivation and recognition of staff; determining staffing, scheduling, and training needs.

Our successful candidate will demonstrate passion, dedication to continuous improvement, a collaborative work style, and a desire to share time, expertise and success with others. You are motivated by providing remarkable service (every time) and finding the best total solution for the member. In addition, you have:

• 7+ years related experience in the financial services industry. 
• Proficiency in business development, investments, and lending is required. 
• High-level knowledge of financial trends and competitive changes and keep up-to-date on our competitors’ environments.
• Post-secondary education in a related discipline supplemented by specific coursework in lending and financial planning is required. 
• A Canadian Securities course or Mutual Funds license, CFP designation, and/or experience in commercial lending would be assets.
• Demonstrated leadership and change management skills.
• A personal commitment to continued professional development.
