The
SCADA Support Specialist will possess an in-depth knowledge of the
company’s current automation related products and be able to develop a
high level of expertise in defining, deploying, utilizing and training
in the function of the soon to be released iWell SCADA software
platform. The SCADA Product Specialist reports to the Automation Sales
Manager and will be based in the Calgary office.
Assist
in pre-sales efforts including defining monitoring and control
requirements and architectural design of the complete SCADA system
including server and communication hardware selection. This includes
assisting the sales team in the preparation of quotations for all Lufkin
Automation product lines as required to provide a complete SCADA
proposal.
Responsible for first level technology support including
performing on site troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning based
upon client requirements
Fully responsible for preparing, scheduling and delivering
local and field training for all SCADA related products for both
internal and external customers. Proficiency in MS PowerPoint is a must.
Service oriented approach, flexible and proactive towards ever changing clients' needs.

Liaison between customers, engineers, outside sales,
manufacturing and project management to ensure timely and accurate
completion of orders and quotes.
Graduate
of post-secondary institution with preference to persons with skills
relating to SCADA product integration, sales or support.
General knowledge of oilfield production equipment operation and some oil well operating principles.
Demonstrated customer service skills, intermediate proficiency of Microsoft applications.
Must have prior related work experience and a desire to
work in a fun and fast paced environment with little supervision once
training is complete.
Strong command of the English language.
Travel may be required to customer sites in Western Canada to provide support and training.
