| The Lead Scheduler will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to affect short-term and some long-term business goals. | |
| • Develop practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals
• Be responsible for work that is less defined in scope and has the understanding and experience to execute business objectives • Put into effect short-term and some long-term business goals • Develop production schedule to meet customer demands, drive material requirements, and proactively set levels of manufacturing output • Communicate across multiple departments to effectively coordinate operations between manufacturing production and sales • Print load letters for weekly deliveries • Coordinate with Lead Operators to convert planned orders to process orders • Create weekly metric charts and focus on metrics in order to meet delivery performance targets • Coordinate with Material Planner and Lead Operators to ensure appropriate raw material is in stock; minimize QC hold, blend off, and return material • Manage daily and long range scheduling with the Cell Leader • Manage daily and long range scheduling while maintaining productivity cost controls • Complete and maintain quarterly production charts and report out, along with the Cell Leader, on a weekly basis the expected billing for the quarter | |

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University (or a High
School Diploma/GED with a minimum 4 years of experience in production
scheduling)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the country in which the position is located | |
| • Previous GE Experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to multi-task • Knowledge of SAP • Understanding of DOT and HOS rules with respect to Delivery Shipments • Strong customer mindset • Six Sigma training (GE Employees only) • Ability to coordinate work flow through the production cell • Ability to work directly with vendors and suppliers to obtain services or products in expected timeframe • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills |
