| As
an Applications Engineer, you will play a key role between the Sales
and Engineering Teams responsible for progressing cavity pumping system
design and consulting. This includes working with the customer to
establish and define system requirements, selecting appropriate
equipment, analysing operating conditions and optimizing as required.
This requires a fundamental understanding of production engineering and
artificial lift principles.
This role can be based in either Calgary or Edmonton | |
| • Design, equipment selection, planning, analysis and optimization of progressing cavity pumping systems
• Data management as per customer requirements • Liaise directly with the customer Production Engineers, Operators and Programmers for all required physical and production information • Numerous reporting functions pertaining to failure analysis, optimization and trending • Provide technical support for exiting technologies • Support introduction of new technologies, products and services, including training of internal personnel and customers • Assist with day-to-day technical questions and concerns from internal personnel and customers • Travels as required to support products sales, field testing and troubleshooting • Perform other related duties as assigned by management | |
| • B.S. Engineering
• Minimum five years experience in a production engineering role • Minimum three years experience in application engineering and production optimization • Registered with APEGGA or qualified for registration with APEGGA • Ability to understand customer needs and define those needs to develop system design requirements • Excellent verbal and written communications skills including technical and business presentations to customers • Ability to conduct effective training presentations | |
| • Degree in Petroleum Engineering
• Knowledge and practical experience using simulation software, preferable C-FER PC-Pump • Knowledge of progressing cavity pumping systems and automation technology |
