TMMC is a world-class automotive facility with assembly plants
located in Cambridge and Woodstock, Ontario. We produce the top quality
Corolla, Matrix, Lexus RX 350 and RAV4. We
have completed new model launches for the Corolla and RAV4 and are
excited about the launch of the Lexus Hybrid RX450h in 2014!

Position Summary
- Support of yearly Corporate objectives and long term strategic planning
- Analysis and implementation of safety & ergonomic concerns
- Process equipment evaluation, specifications, procurement and implementation
- Automation troubleshooting, cycle time reductions and new equipment installation
- Process simulation / bottleneck analysis
- Provide solutions and support to Mfg processes and Kaizen activity
- Budget forecasting and control
- Cost reduction identification and implementation
- Co-ordination of external skilled trades / supplier activities
- Day Shift, with afternoon shift and overtime support as required
- Must be flexible to work in Cambridge and/or Woodstock
Qualifications
- Periodic domestic and international travel as required
- Related work experience within a high volume manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of equipment design and function
- Proven hands-on problem solving & project management experience
- Multi-disciplinary experience in process or equipment engineering concerns
- Strong leadership and technical skills
- Logistics process design would be an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work in a team environment
- Engineering Degree with relevant work experience
