IBM’s Portal & Content Management Business Analyst serves as a key facilitator within the organization and its clients by liaising between the business and technical teams. The Business Analyst is a critical part of the identification and definition of business requirements and drives for business problem solutions.

Primary responsibilities of this role are elicitation, analysis and documentation of business and functional requirements, user stories, use cases and ensuring these tie directly back to business objectives as stated in the Statement of Work. Knowledge of IBM WebSphere Portal & WCM is an asset to help clients to maximize inherent features to optimize time to market with new offerings is an asset. Knowledge of other Content Management Systems.

Primary Objectives & Responsibilities:
· Conducting Fit-Gap workshops with clients
· Supports delivery of projects on time and within budget while managing to realistic scope
· Analyzes and documents new and existing business processes to validate a solution that supports project objective(s)
· Develops and manages detailed business and functional requirements
· Documents user stories
· Documents detailed use cases to support QA creation of test cases
· Working as part of a QA function in a web/digital delivery project
· Documents specification/wireframes to illustrate UI interactions
· Facilitates cross-functional meetings to capture requirements
· Manages business-related issues and action item resolution
· Preparing and delivering user training as appropriate
· Develops process modeling to illustrate end state solution
· Manages user acceptance testing and training documents to support completed project
· Using information gained through prior experience, knowledge sharing with other Business Analysts, education and training to resolve issues and remove project barriers.
Required
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years experience in progressive business analysis
  • Basic knowledge in IBM WebSphere Portal & WCM
  • English: Fluent
Preferred
  • Master's Degree in Information Technology
  • At least 5 years experience in progressive business analysis
  • At least 6 months experience in IBM WebSphere Portal & WCM
