This position is responsible for providing a wide range of programming services including new application design and construction, systems integration, and maintenance support of existing business solutions. The developer will be working with Solution Architects, Developers, Systems Analysts, and Quality Assurance Analysts to understand the system requirements and the construction of systems that meet those requirements. You will find success based on your ability to: •Interact with other IT Development and Operations departments to clarify and build applications that meet a business unit’s objectives. These departments include, but are not limited to, the Project Management Office, Corporate Solutions Delivery, and IT Development and Operations (see below). •Work directly with Solution Architects, other Programmer Analysts, Quality Assurance Analysts, Project Managers, Project Analysts, and Business Analysts to design, develop, and document new and maintain existing business applications •Act as a technical subject matter expert with regards to programming, system design, and development related activities. This may include leading code and design reviews within a project team. •Prepare plans for application construction, implementation and ongoing system support. •Create and vet use case/requirements specifications. •Provide work estimates to managers and project managers as requested. This may include working with Programmers to develop such estimates. •Assist in the development, implementation, and adherence of systems development methodologies within projects. •Construct new applications, interfaces and maintenance changes. •Design and build databases as required •Ensure data integrity and accuracy •Prepare system documentation Job Requirements : As the ideal candidate you possess: •Proven experience in using SAP ABAP Workbench. •Understanding of CRM case management and banking business processes and applications would be an asset. •Experience in the ABAP programming language, including ABAP Objects. Experience in other programming languages such as VB, Java, VB.Net, and / or C# would be an asset. •Experience writing & modifying ABAP reports, interfaces, conversions, forms, workflows, user exits, BADI’s, Web Dynpro APBP. •Excellent knowledge of object oriented design and programming. •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. •Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills. •Good communication skills (both verbal and non-verbal). •Recognized Information Technology training – university/ college/ technical school or equivalent experience. •Two (2) + years of ABAP development experience for SAP CRM and/or ECC. •Five (5) + years IT development and analysis experience •Proven experience in using iterative development methodologies. •Previous financial industry experience would be an asset.
