| This role is responsible for performing services necessary to setup or repair variable speed drives (VSD) and motor control panels at customer's establishment utilizing knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical machinery. Specializes in electrical work and installation of all electrical submersible pump (ESP) equipment including variable speed drives (VSD), switchboards, SPS, SCADA systems, etc. Presents and delivers training to others. | |
| • Perform VSD, softstart, and switchboard setup for downhole and SPS applications.
• VSD, softstart, and switchboard troubleshooting and repair. • Inspect and assemble all types of ESP equipment. • Provide work direction to cable technicians. • Diagnose problems with equipment and recommend appropriate solutions. • Comply with all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements. • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the country in which the position is located • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including Driver's Abstract, as part of the selection process. | |
| • 5-7 years of related experience
• Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record • Ability and willingness to work overtime • Basic computer skills • Electronic/Electrical experience • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the country in which the position is located • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including Driver Abstract, as part of the selection process | |
| • Willing and able to obtain a commercial driver license
• Self-motivated and team player • Knowledge of Electrical Submersible Pumps and Surface Pumping Systems • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships • Strong safety culture background • Knowledge of VSDs, softstarts, and switchboards • Understanding of analog and digital circuitry and setup • High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) |
