| The Assembly Technician performs duties to position and assemble moderate to highly complex equipment utilizing fitting, adjusting, securing manoeuvres. The purpose of this position is to assemble and test wellheads to supply to various Oil and Gas companies for the purpose of flow control. | |
| Assemble wellheads using hand/pneumatic/hydraulic tools.
Pressure test wellhead components using a hydraulic press/high pressure pumps. Paint wellheads using body shop spray guns. Clean area and put stock away daily. Work overtime as necessary to complete customer orders. Identify problems or hazardous conditions that occur during assembly and test. Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety and environmental regulations. Assemble and pressure test moderate to highly complex wellhead equipment to supply various Oil and Gas companies for the purpose of flow control. Perform other related duties as assigned or indicated by responsibilities | |
| High School diploma or GED
Minimum of 3 years work experience in manufacturing or test and assembly an asset Ability to work in a team. Ability to lift 40 lbs. | |
| Attention to detail.
Previous wellhead/valve assembly experience would be an asset. Mechanically inclined. |
