We are seeking an entry level MS graduate from a Quant Finance or Financial Mathematics program.
The
CS Americas Presales team contributes to the success of sales and
associated revenue generation within the RMA segment by generating and
delivering analytical output during the benefits positioning stage of
the sales cycle; focusing on functional positioning, product
differentiation and a client driven pitch - a prerequisite to shorten
the sales cycle and influence commercial negotiations
RESPONSIBLITIES:

- Client supplied portfolio/market data analysis and identification of data deficiencies / discrepancies
- Loading client portfolios in the application and executing on standard methodologies for complex instrument types
- Running (market / risk) reconciliation reports to ensure that clients’ investments strategies are accurately represented in the application
- Liaising with prospective clients to understanding their investment strategies and ensuring that portfolios are accurately modeled using MSCI Risk and Performance Analytical tools
- Analyzing portfolio risk and performance, generating reports, presentations and commentaries to help position the benefits of MSCI Risk and Performance tools
- Proactively implementing custom/workaround solutions to meet client expectations
- Handover of analytical output generated to Sales Specialists to aid demos and ongoing interactions
- Conducting application demos and presenting analytical results directly to prospects
- Responding to prospective client queries and generating follow up analysis
- Training prospects during the trial phase on the application, methodologies and reporting and educating prospects on how they can utilize MSCI Risk and Performance tools to meet their business requirements
- Advanced Degree in Quant Finance, Financial Mathemtics or a similar degree of study
- Additional qualifications in CFA (US) and/or FRM would be a plus, for candidates looking for rapid career development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent Excel (Macro/VBA experience will be an advantage), Matlab and Powerpoint Skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight, short-term deadlines whilst managing client expectations.
