Provides deployment, installation and support on Intelex’s systems. Provides systems maintenancesupport including troubleshooting, problem analysis and assessments for software systems and assignedprojects.
Responsibilities and Deliverables
- Software deployment and installation/update automation.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and T-SQL and other Windows-basedscripting utilities.
- Respond to Technical Service Requests for software installation, configuration, updates and supportrequests.
- Provide data import services utilizing industry standard and Intelex custom built tools.
- Configuration and change management of Intelex's client software in a SAAS environment.
- Maintain technical documentation and deployment instructions on Intelex software products.
- Work closely with Product Management, Quality Assurance and Development teams in releasing newfeatures and functionality to production systems.
- All other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.
- Reports to the Manager of Technical Services.
- Builds and maintains relationships with cross functional teams within the organization.
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, InformationTechnology or equivalent technical related program.
- Experience and strong knowledge of Windows Server software.
- Experience and strong knowledge of High Availability web systems.
- Experience and strong knowledge of web-based systems built on Microsoft Technologies.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL Server (both Administration and T-SQL)
- Strong knowledge and experience with Internet Information Services 6/7/7.5
- Strong knowledge of Windows PowerShell and other Windows scripting techniques.
- Experience with common Network topologies and protocols.
- Expert-level skills in Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Excellent research skills.
- Excellent time-management and project management skills.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Understanding of ITIL/ITIL foundations certificate.
