The
Resource Management Coordinator is a member of the Eastern Canada
Assurance Resource Management Team, contributing to the goals of
effective deployment of our practitioners and comprehensive project
staffing for delivery of our engagements in Canada. The Resource
Management Coordinator primarily provides focused functional resource
management support for the Core Assurance practice in the Quebec
marketplace.
Responsibilities:

Maintain Automated Resource Management Systems (ARMS) with client bookings and staff projections
-
Maintain databases regarding client data, staff preferences, skills and restrictions
-
Produce general forecasting, availability and capacity management reporting. Communication of outputs also required.

Monitor unassigned resources, act as point of contact for unassigned staff, identify assignments for same

Fill open needs as required; investigate projects to release staff to fill needs
-
Audit ARMS regularly for accuracy - take appropriate actions to rectify issues

Coordinate with Knowledge, Learning and Applications to ensure staff are booked in ARMs for training and maintain accuracy of same

Assist with annual planning process - incl. data input to planning tool

Provide reporting as required for annual Performance Management process

Assist local RM (Resource Manager) with staffing issues
-
Communicate regularly with RM and practice managers on status of staffing requirements and issues
-
Identify over/under utilized individuals and bring to attention of RMs if required.

Identify conflicts and resolve or escalate

Look for ways to improve processes
To qualify, the candidate must have:
-
A post-secondary education is preferable (business, HR or other related field of study) along with 1-2 years of relevant work experience or familiarity with a professional services firm environment

1-2 years of experience

Ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities
