Position Overview
The Product Owner represents the voice of the customer within their scrum team and is responsible fortranslating customer requirements and business objectives into intuitive product designs. The ProductOwner, Reports and Dashboards owns Intelex’s Reports and Dashboards functionalities and capabilitiesfrom requirements definition and design to delivery and communication.
You are an experienced Product Owner with strong expertise on Business Intelligence technologies, withseveral years of experience managing and delivering multiple complex enterprise reporting technologyprojects. You have a solid understanding of both Lean/Agile and project management methodologies.

Responsibilities and Deliverables
- Communicate regularly with all stakeholders to understand changing requirements so that theproduct backlog is kept up-to-dates
- Perform user research with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their businessobjectives to build a shared internal understanding of their problems and needs
- Facilitate internal requirements gathering sessions with various departments
- Gather and document requirements using established methods such as interviewing, prototyping,etc.
- Analyze business and functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows
- Translate high-level product requirements into designs and user stories that deliver compelling userexperiences that solve real business problems
- Conduct meetings with product stakeholders to ensure all stated requirements are valid and meetthe stakeholder needs
- Work closely with other Product Owners to ensure all dependencies and impediments areunderstood so that new features can be released in a timely manner
- Partner with Business Analysts when required to fully understand the conceptual design vision andensure it meets the requirements outlined in the product strategy
- Define each iteration and work closely with your scrum team to deliver remarkable products on time;monitor and report on the status of release schedules
- Unblock and focus scrum your team throughout each iteration to ensure maximum productivity
- Work in weekly or bi-weekly sprints using an Agile methodology
- Reports to the Vice President – Product Management EHSQ Solutions.
- Builds and maintains relationships with cross-functional teams within the organization.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, User Experience, Human Factorsor related field from a leading university
- Certified in Product Management (e.g. Scrum Product Owner) would be a definite asset
- Extensive experience with Business Intelligence/Data Analysis/Data Visualization products (asdeveloper and/or product owner) – at least 7 years
- Strong UI design experience in both the web and mobile application spaces
- Good understanding of responsive design principles
- Past experience in product management with enterprise software companies
- A proven track record of delivering aggressive business objectives in a fast-paced, changingenvironment
- Excellent judgement and problem solving skills; the ability to understand how technology can solve auser problem
- The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and listen and learn from stakeholders includingcustomers, vendors and other employees
- Experience programming complex software applications in a .NET environment
- Familiarity with object oriented concepts in programming
- UI design experience, including task and workflow analysis and prototyping
- The ability to balance business needs and usability/design ideals within a fast-paced, agile softwaredevelopment environment
- Strong knowledge of agile development processes
- Good written communication and presentation skills
