You will be joining the Marketing Innovation Centre (MIC) as a Marketing Associate. The MIC has been created to provide innovative, high-quality experiences that are aligned with both Health Care Professional and Consumer needs / preferences. To drive business results, brands typically allocate the majority of their efforts and budgets to marketing strategies and tactics with a proven track record. We help to manage the risk of testing unproven marketing techniques, while enabling the business to succeed. To that end, our Vision is: “We focus on what will work tomorrow”.
There are three key priority areas that our team is focused on achieving:
1. Innovation Pilots: Testing new & scalable ideas
2. Platform Solutions: Centrally managed; value-add solutions
3. Advisory Services / Centre of Excellence: Consulting priority brands & Leading opportunities to share best practices; International & cross-sector learnings
Role Summary:
You will have the opportunity to support and lead important and innovative marketing solutions as a part of the Marketing Innovation Centre. These initiatives could range from supporting a cutting edge point-of-care pilot solution for Health Care Professionals, to promoting a consumer-based mobile adherence application. There will be a variety of projects / initiatives supporting both our Health Professional marketing and direct-to-consumer business objectives. Many of these opportunities will leverage digital marketing channels and platforms and you will be working closely with individuals from the Marketing, IT and Business Analytics, in addition to our external partners and vendors.
Key deliverables will include:
Support the analytics, development and execution of key marketing tactics & plans
Leverage Google Analytics, Radian6 and other tools to support monthly performance reporting & insight generation for digital assets
Manage the creation of promotional tools (both offline & online)
Collaborate with marketing teams and external vendors/agencies to develop targeted content and manage content distribution through internal Customer portal
Support data strategy & multi-channel marketing pilots
Liaise with SEM agency of record on direct-to-consumer marketing campaigns
Qualifications
Student in good standing, working towards the completion of an MBA or related graduate degree
Completed the first year of your MBA program on or before the start date of this internship
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and an aptitude for analytics
Previous experience in digital marketing or health care industry an asset
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Enjoy working on teams
