Account Director – B2B Digital

Edelman Toronto is in search of a senior level B2B digital and social media expert to join our rapidly growing Toronto team. The right candidate is always looking for the cutting edge of communications, social media marketing and customer engagement, and has experience leading teams working full-time in this area.

This is an important role on the Digital team, with significant growth potential.

Edelman Digital is the digital arm of Edelman, the largest PR firm in the world.  Our core services include developing social media strategy, execution and measurement, digital production, online conversation monitoring, influencer relations, and reputation management & measurement.
Qualifications

The Account Director will ideally have at least 6-8 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Agency-side experience in social media is essential.

Desired skills and experience

    A thorough understanding and extensive experience in all facets of digital and social media marketing/communications for B2B-focused businesses.
    A demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies and programs as an agency practitioner is critical.
    An ability to go toe-to-toe with the best in the business in driving client-facing recommendations at a strategy and program level.
    Excellent inter-personal communication and presentation skills.
    Strong project management skills and experience managing large budgets, teams and projects.
    A strong awareness of own strengths and weaknesses, and how to leverage/offset these within a team environment.
    Ability to provide strategic counsel and recommendations in a high-pressure environment.
    Confidence to support personal convictions, opinions and recommendations with substantive arguments.
    A “team first” attitude and strong leadership qualities.

Senior Account Executive – Corporate, Montréal

Edelman Montreal’s office is currently seeking for a Senior Account Executive for clients in corporate communication practice in Montréal.



Preferred Qualifications

As a senior account executive, you have at least two years of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including research, advertising, management consulting, media and publishing.

You will have a solid grasp of all basic public relations tools and how they are used to achieve client goals, with preference given to those with a strong understanding of social media and how it can be used to support corporate reputation. You will have solid research, writing and editing skills and the ability to develop media contacts/relationships. We expect a fundamental understanding of media outreach assignments and experience and initiative in developing and executing appropriate traditional and online media strategies. Community Manager / Account Executive (Toronto)

The successful candidate will join the Toronto practice of Edelman Digital, the world’s largest global social agency and part of Edelman, the largest PR firm in the world. 

As a high-energy, outgoing person with a passion for social media and online communities, you are an active participant in social networks. An appetite for proactively staying on top of the latest trends, platforms and information in social media is a must.

You will work in a team to help develop and execute content strategies for our clients’ branded social media channels, execute point-in-time campaigns and projects, monitor for issues and respond to comments from the community in a timely manner.

You will be on point to measure community metrics to gauge program effectiveness, provide feedback to client teams to optimize programs in real time, and prepare reports for clients.

You will play a key role developing, executing and optimizing Facebook ad and Google Adwords campaigns that promote clients’ social media content and channels.
