Overview

As the Inside Sales Representative, you take pride in providing memorable experiences with your customers.  You effectively manage relationships with retailers and build a successful sales territory. By providing exceptional customer service you help customers leverage their sales through value-added sales, marketing and education opportunities.
You take customer service and sales seriously, but have fun at work with the Vega team!  You value integrity, customer service; you take ownership and show initiative in everything you do and are performance driven.  You not only love the culture, but contribute to it. Key Responsibilities

  • Enthusiastically call Vega customers and share your passion for our brand
  • Prospect and engage new accounts
  • Deliver customer service through inbound and outbound call support
  • Build and maintain an active sales territory effectively increasing sales and product placement
  • Meet sales goals and targets (if you beat it, that is awesome!)
  • Ensure accounts follow recommended pricing guidelines and adhere to Minimum Advertised Price (MAP)
  • Resolve problems with a high level of customer service, focusing on customer satisfaction
  • Through a regular call schedule, keep customers up to date with changes/promotions and develop relationships with them
  • Provide product education  to retailers
  • Find creative ways to merchandise Vega at every store
  • Review Point-of-Sale (POS) material and understand your stores performance
  • Utilize your trade spend to maximize sales growth opportunities
  • Analyze trade spend reports to ensure efficient use of trade spend dollars
  • Analyze reports to identify areas of opportunities

Skills and Qualifications

  • University or College Degree in Business, Sales or Marketing or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in inside sales/customer service role
  • A passion to deliver world class customer service
  • Amazing organizational, data entry, communication, and Microsoft Office skills
  • A nutrition background (RHN, CSNN, etc.) is an asset
  • Fully bi-lingual in French and English is an asset
