This test automation lead role will be responsible for a team of automation developers tasked with automating existing manual test cases and supporting / refining an existing QTP test automation framework incorporating QTP, Selenium, and a Java based test harness.　 Support to other areas of test automation including continuous integration testing and performance testing may also be required.  It is also imperative that the Technical Agile Test Lead have an understanding of test automation, test automation frameworks, testing tools and coding standards as the teams you will be managing will be developing complex and robust test automation frameworks. Responsibilities: 

• • Lead a team of automation developers to define and create test automation scripts using QTP and Selenium frameworks
  • Implement the test automation framework in Agile environment
  • Extend the coverage and refine the quality of the test automation framework
  • Execute test scripts, report on progress
  • Raise defect reports and assist with the resolution of issues
  • Work with Testers and BA's to ensure upstream test planning is optimized for the efficient delivery of automated testing.
  • Identify potential opportunities of saving manual testing efforts by leveraging test automation
  • Assist in manual functional and regression testing when required
  • Manage stakeholder relationships

 

Requirements:

• • Previous experience (5+ years) of HP's Quick Test Professional and VBScript programming, Selenium
  • Previous experience leading a team (3-5 team members)
  • Experience with Data Driven Test Automation Frameworks
  • Track record of being hands-on and taking ownership
  • Being methodical, having good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Pride in delivering high quality work to agreed project schedules
  • A self-starter displaying initiative and a "can-do" attitude
  • Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English
  • Experience in testing for Telecommunication industry (1+ years)
