This is an exciting role to join leading Canadian bank as a Senior Manager in the Model Development team. The role also comes with an opportunity for fast career progression as it is likely that the function will be expanding again and this would allow the role to gain further responsibility. 

 

What the Role Involves

•             Development of risk models for consumer and small business portfolios

•             Analytical expertise on larger scale projects with the biggest strategic implications

•             Responsible for compliance with the Basel II framework

•             Work with members of the Basel Program Office, Finance Division, and Global Risk Management

 

Ideal Candidate

•             Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, etc. (or equivalent)

•             Good knowledge of the Basel II

•             Previous work experience in an analytical role using SAS or other statistical software

•             Strong analytical skills, autonomy, pro-activity, respect of deadlines, drive, detail-oriented

•             Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
