We are looking for an exceptionally creative and inspirational Senior Interactive Art Director to help lead and support the conceptual development of some complex and forward-looking interactive ideas.
Participating in the development and execution of creative deliverables, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a passionate creative vision, be able to apply big ideas and seamlessly integrate across all touch points. The Senior Interactive Art Director will work alongside a growing team, tasked with the responsibility of pushing our creative - bringing beautiful thinking to life across our clients’ businesses.
Reporting to the Creative Director, the Senior Interactive Art Director should be able to build strong relationships, demonstrate thought leadership and subject matter expertise, and mentor a team while developing strategically sound creative concepts across channels.

Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development of strategically sound creative concepts (big thinking).
Conceptualize and create effective interaction design and leading-edge user experience for websites, mobile and online media
Collaborate with creative team members to determine the conceptual direction of digital initiatives.
Participate in delivering outstanding creative work, with short-term business benefits and long-term potential.
Participate in strategic and creative process for a variety of interactive and video pieces from concept to final execution.
Help lead, grow and develop a talented team of senior interactive designers by: 1) Providing coaching and performance mentorship 2) Recommending growth opportunities that support the needs of the business 3) Motivating and inspiring by example
Provide quality assurance of creative deliverables.
Build and maintain a rapport with the account teams and senior management across the organization.
Provide senior direction and input into the vision for the proper execution and approach of digital work.
Promote continual creative improvement and actively contribute to a culture of innovation, excellence and accountability.
Qualifications
Exceptional concept development and proven ability to develop compelling ideas that exceed client expectations.
6+ years of experience as an interactive art director in an agency environment
2+ years of direct management and leadership experience, with a proven ability to provide recommendations.
A sound understanding of conceptual design and a keen appreciation of the interplay between textual and visual elements.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills
Ability to think creatively and justify concepts to clients and team members.
Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines.
Demonstrated experience designing for web, email and mobile (an online portfolio is required to be considered for this position).
A solid understanding of Creative Suite CS4 or higher.
An ability to code jQuery, (X)HTML and CSS.
An understanding of Flash and/or motion graphics would be advantageous.
