Things you'll do include:

• Develop .NET applications using C#
  
• Execute unit tests to validate code
  
• Prepare technical documentation to facilitate the supporting of applications
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as needed

Some things it’s important that you have in your background:

• Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent working experience
  
• Minimum of 3 years work experience, 5+ years preferred
  
• Strong programming skills with C#
  
• Expertise developing ASP.NET 3.5/4.0 and Silverlight 4/5 applications
  
• Proficient in developing Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages and Triggers using T-SQL and PL/SQL
  
• Extensive experience with LINQ, AJAX and JavaScript
  
• Experience developing WCF IIS/Windows services
  
• In-depth knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle
  
• Excellent collaboration and team skills
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

A few other things that you don't need to have, but it would be great if you did:

• Knowledge of finance and experience in the financial industry
  
• Web Sphere Portal 7
  
• TIBCO Services
  
• Telerik and/or DevExpress
  
• SharePoint
