 Wetaskiwin Credit Union has 15 employees located in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, which is 70 kilometers south of the provincial capital of Edmonton. This ideal small city bustles with economic life while being moments away from both a larger city centre and outdoor life. As the ideal candidate, you are known for your relationship-building and genuine leadership capable of delivering an effective strategy to maximize customer satisfaction and the long term viability of the organization. Under managerial oversight, this position supports the credit union’s business strategy through interpretation and execution of credit strategies for the lending services area in the branch.  Within assigned lending limits, grants retail, commercial and agricultural loans and mortgages, advises members on credit matters, and supervises other staff with credit granting authority.    
 The successful candidate will be a knowledgeable, organized, trustworthy, and collaborative professional with a keen desire to enhance relationships. As a clear and compelling communicator, you inspire and motivate others.
 The ideal candidate possesses a post-graduate degree in Commerce, Finance or Business Administration, accompanied by a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a professional lending capacity. Solid knowledge and experience related to all areas of lending to resolve complex enquiries and problems is required. Experience within the credit union system or financial sector is considered an asset.
