We are currently seeking a dynamic and creative Intermediate Software Developer to join our Binary Experience team.

As our Intermediate Software Developer, you will:

• Write excellent code from scratch and develop various features for the Achievers web application/platform
• Squash bugs using your analytical skills and industry best practices
• Work in a fast-paced, agile development environment (you will never get bored)
• Work in an environment where your manager understands you (he/she was a developer too) and cares about your continuous improvement, and also gives you interesting work opportunities
• Have a proactive role in improving the Achievers software architecture
• Be part of an awesome culture of intelligent, like-minded individuals

As a Senior Software Developer, you:

• Have 3+ years of experience/familiarity with production Linux deployments and Apache web server
• Have strong experience with software architecture, scalability, and performance
• Have demonstrated knowledge and experience with back-end development (PHP 5)
• Are a natural when it comes to database technologies (primarily MySQL), conventions and standards in database architecture, optimization, and database sharding
• Have a good grasp of front-end technologies including: HTML5, CSS3/SCSS/LESS, JavaScript, jQuery, and other UI libraries
• Have implemented and maintained scalable, redundant and fault tolerant systems for the web
• Are familiar with version control (Git) and branching strategies
• Have excellent communication skills and can express your brilliant ideas both verbally and through the written word
• Have a demonstrated track record of getting things done
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
• Have knowledge of frameworks - CodeIgniter is a plus
