CHIEF CREDIT OFFICER
ROSETOWN ADMINISTRATION BRANCH
Our credit union has an opportunity for the Chief Credit Officer position in our Rosetown Administration branch. 
Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Credit Officer is responsible for all credit functions including retail, syndication, approvals, quality, and support.  The Chief Credit Officer also maintains a functional responsibility for Marketing and Retail Technology.
Qualifications
· Relevant degree, Associate of the Credit Union or combination of education and experience in financial services industry (preferably credit union) with minimum 10 years industry experience.
· 5-7 years credit granting and risk management experience.
· Proven proficiency in agriculture and commercial lending and collections.
· Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with an aptitude for relationship and team building.
Key Responsibility Areas
· Promote, support, and ensure delivery of sound advice that benefits both the member and credit union. 
· Promote the credit union and participate in member and community events as well as support community economic development initiatives.
  • Provide leadership in development of operating plans and budgets monitor financial performance in relation to budgets and Business Plan.
  • Provide ongoing leadership and direction to the assessment of services and operations to support all departments within the division.
  • Participate in development and implementation of the corporate strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and provincial legislative requirements.
  • Oversee the development of policy and procedures in accordance with PCCU established guidelines.
