Our client is a leading global infrastructure company with a strong track record of success in the Canadian market - and, as a result of this success, they're growing their team in Canada.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The responsibilities of this role are diverse - this professional will be wearing many hats given the small size of the team and the current growth of the team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Working together with the entire team during the transaction/project life cycle from beginning to end from a financial and development standpoint
• Liaising between the finance, development and legal functions
• Reviewing financial models (and developing them occasionally if needed)
• Assisting in the preparation of various presentations necessary during the transaction/project life cycle
• Maintaining and developing relationships with lenders

QUALIFICATIONS
The successful professional will have between 5 and 10 years of total work experience within an infrastructure fund, investment bank (with a focus on a particular sector or various sectors of the infrastructure space) or an infrastructure developer (project finance experience). To clarify this, candidates with experience in Power & Utilities, P3's, renewable energy, Transportation, etc. within one of the above three areas would be considered. The successful professional will also have:
• Strong business acumen
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently very well but as part of a team
• A CA, MBA or CFA is an asset, but it's not necessary a requirement
• An undergraduate degree (Business/Commerce/Engineering) from a recognized University
