Global Employment Tax Services team which
is dedicated to providing quality, integrated compliance and consulting
employment tax services to our clients. In addition,this team offers a wide range of distinct services that collectively provide a strategy for the employment tax challenges facing businesses today.

Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Manager, you will:
- Participate in the implementation of international payroll structures
- Prepare reports and perform employment tax quality assurance procedures
- Coordinate international payroll with clients and Ernst & Young foreign offices
- Reconcile international payroll
- Prepare Canadian payroll reports such as T4/Relev 1, Employer Health Tax summary, and Workers compensation summary.,
- Assist clients with the preparation of applications for Certificates of Coverage
- Input payroll data in various payroll systems to process international payroll.
- Prepare forms to request reduction of deductions at source considering international tax positions
- Communicate with the taxation authorities with respect to various employment tax issues.
Requirements:
- College diploma in accounting or related area
- Knowledge of Canadian payroll issues including CPP, EI, taxable benefits, provincial health care, WCB, etc.(asset)
- Experience in expatriate tax and/or international payroll issues (asset)
- Excellent writing skills
- Fluently bilingual (written and verbal )
- Experience with, or desire to learn, cross-border or expatriate payroll issues
- Interest to work in an advisory environment
- Ability to analyze
- Ability to organize/handle multiple priorities with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills including: teamwork, willingness to help others, integrity, positive attitude, self-motivation
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines with strong dedication and commitment to client service
- Computer proficiency, including knowledge of Windows applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and e-mail; Outlook proficiency a plus
