Insurance and Actuarial Advisory Services Practice ("IAAS") is one of
the world leading providers of professional and actuarial services,
specializing in all segments of the property/casualty and life/health

Within our IAAS group, the Actuarial Analyst (senior level) will work on multiple client engagement teams that perform mostly actuarial audit work, but also external peer reviews, internal audit support, valuation and pricing analysis, model building, cash flow testing, risk management, due diligence, and many other related P&C insurance actuarial projects. On-the-job training will be provided to acquire practical experience in addressing technical/business issues and in applying industry expertise and EY policies, procedures and accelerating tools on client engagements. Responsibilities
Develop working knowledge of engagement objectives and the client's/industry issues. Apply data processes, test controls, and perform substantive procedures. Create work products that document engagement procedures. Establish/manage priorities, create/manage work plans, communicate the status of activities, and accumulate/report all chargeable hours. Successfully meet deadlines. Maintain a strong client focus and maintain/develop productive working relationships with clients. Stay informed of current business, economic, actuarial, accounting and regulatory developments relevant to the client. Develop people through teamwork, integrity, and leadership. Commit to developing knowledge. Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery. Respect/protect confidential client information. Bring potential opportunities to the team's attention. Seek, develop, and present ideas to apply EY services and bring value to clients.

- a bachelor or graduate degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other related major
- be in the course of obtaining the FCAS designation
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in P&C insurance contract liabilities and capital valuation
- excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in both French and English
- solid computer skills
The location is Québec city. However, the successful candidate must also be willing and able to travel, when necessary.
