The following student position is a part of IBM Canada's EPIC (Employment Pathways to Interns & Co-ops) Student Program. This position is only open to students registered in a Canadian University or College program, who have completed a minimum of 2 years of their degree or diploma program, and who must be returning to full-time study upon the completion of the temporary IBM work term.

  • This Student Position resides in Ottawa and is a 4 MONTH work term

    Main Responsibilities include:

    The Jazz Collaborative ALM team is looking for an individual to join its Release Engineering group. Release Engineers are an integral part of development. They keep things moving by producing builds that integrate development changes. They need to be team players, willing to work closely and collaboratively with groups that are geographically dispersed over widely separated locations. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn what it takes to build and release great software. Eagerness to learn is a must.

    A successful candidate would need to be enthusiastic, have appropriate knowledge of the above technologies or be capable of quickly mastering these technologies with guidance. Furthermore, they will be able to work as part of a team and be able to independently solve a well-outlined problem. Technologies the candidate will be exposed to can have a long learning curve; handling well-meaning critique is essential.
