As a Test Specialist, you'll use your expertise in the planning, design, management, execution and reporting of tests - using appropriate testing tools and techniques - to ensure that IBM systems (new and amended) conform to exacting standards. Why? So they'll perform as specified, with any interface, to meet clients' business goals. You'll deliver on that promise with exceptional testing strategies, test plans, test cases, test reports and quality metrics.
In this position you will primarily apply your technical skills in an internal or external customer services and implementation environment.

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Bedford, NS Services Centre.

Position Requirements:
- Must be familiar with LEAN process improvements concepts and running LEAN Projects (Value Stream, Kaizen's, etc). Experience facilitating process improvement sessions is also desirable
- Familiar with software development processes, specifically agile processes, release management, and ticket management systems
- Must be able to take initiative and pro-actively identify opportunities of areas of improvement, develop business cases, execute a plan to implement improvements
- Have experience developing a metrics management framework, audit plans, and developing a robust quality management plan
- Experience tracking financials to budget, and auditing processes.
- Able to lead small teams, and work on multiple projects simultaneously, across multiple functions

Skills
- Project Management skills 2-3 years
- LEAN experience (Certified LEAN Coach) desirable 1-2 years
- Client facing experience is an asset
Required
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 1 year experience in LEAN Process Improvement Experience
  • English: Fluent
Preferred
  • At least 2 years experience in LEAN Process Improvement Experience
