| We have an exciting career opportunity for a User Experience (UX) Designer to aid the business in creating the next generation user experience & interface design standards for our configuration software. | |
| This
candidate will partner with the key product lines, technology &
marketing teams to conceptualize and develop visual interface templates,
standards, and prototypes with respect to configuration software, to be
used in web, tablet & PC platforms. The candidate will drive
projects combining exceptional visual design, user-friendly interfaces,
and brand-consistent experiences. Gathering key VOC to enable these
tasks is essential.
• Develop a library of UI components for updating and reuse across projects • Create next generation visual interface designs for our portfolio of configuration software • Generate design templates, standards and prototypes of the various configuration software • Drive design solutions across a variety of devices and platforms, including desktop, tablet, and mobile devices • Collaborate in concept development and design ideation with business, customers and technical managers • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and ability to gracefully defend your design decisions • Strong understanding of capabilities and limitations of web and mobile devices based on platform, operating systems, and screen resolutions • Continually maintain and optimize applications and stay abreast of emerging web technologies and design practices | |

| Bachelor's Degree in HCI, graphic design, psychology, and information
technology - Demonstrate experience developing IA documentation (site maps, transaction flows, sketches, scenarios, wireframes, navigation models, design patterns, SEO) for mobile, web and digital products - Able to continually meet dynamic goals in changing environment - Ability to drive the design review cycle, synthesize feedback, and close on design requirements independently - Experience with defining, articulating, integrating the role of design within an organization - Working knowledge of development technologies including HTML5, XHTML, CSS3, and JQuery / Sencha mobile framework - Understanding of brand principles and concepts and its impact on UX and design - Experience following industry web trends in design, functionality, and technology |
