| The Marketing Lead, Lighting Canada is a key brand ambassador position, accountable for
the co--development, implementation and evaluation of marketing campaigns, events and initiatives supporting the business imperatives and regional Sales goals, across a diverse mix of marketing channels. The objective is to drive sales, grow our market share in North America, increase brand awareness and build content that will help educate our target audience(s). | |
| Roles and Responsibilities
1) Canadian trade show messaging/content and execution including pre, during and post show activities. Emphasis on lead capture, pipeline build and nurturing plan 2) French Canadian translation of materials as needed and stewardship of the French Canadian website. Update internet and intranet with end user focus to build brand awareness 3) Market expertise – share, insights around activation and helping to drive strategic focus of the sales team and our marketing efforts, partner with sales and PM on Canadian specific NPI needs and priorities. Analyze Canada market analysis and customer growth based on Sales and Customer Demands, Industry Insight & Competitive analysis. Manage proper market segmentation and Market reporting analysis to ensure short term and long term product positioning and growth in Canada. 4) Vertical & Channel Marketing team integration, working with team to actively collaborate in the formulation of Canadian specific lead gen and channel marketing plans including merchandising & promotions. Develop Canadian End user marketing toolkit and resources to support Sales organization in their efforts. Determine customer--‐focused project goals and develop realistic and results oriented plans and deliverables, driven by mission, brand, attendance and revenue objectives and aligned to the business strategy. 5) Sales Operations – marketing funds leadership, show and event planning. Develop, execute and analyze NPS customer survey. Manage the analysis of customer spend and recommendations on how to maximize revenues, identify and track key growth areas. Manage and work with marketing intelligence processes to have up-to-date information on competitive marketing. Develop overall plan for executing the strategy relative to the portfolio/ segment/ products by partnering with US counterparts cross functionally. Develop and implement strategies for the entire workflow and total process solutions within the C&I segment. NPI rollout strategy and plan development and execution— pricing, marketing, and commercialization. | |
| University degree and/or college diploma in Marketing, or other related field.
3-5 years of experience in marketing or sales operations. Exceptional Analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix team environment. Ability to handle multiple priorities and initiate, lead and manage change. Project management, facilitation and complex problem-solving skills, along with strong process skills Must have strong business acumen. Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and organizational skills. | |
| Knowledge of the Lighting Industry.
Bilingual in English and French. |
