The purpose of this role is to further develop and implement the business continuity & crisis management agenda across the Americas region in GE Capital, Working Capital Solutions. Key focus areas will be the implementation and maintenance of and adherence to the Business Continuity Plans (BCP), Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP), and Crisis Management readiness. Involvement and engagement of local management is another focus area.
  • Support the business areas in performing business impact analysis & risk assessments
  • Engagement with local BCP, Crisis Management and Security owners in the documentation of BCP documentation and sharing best practices.
  • Support the business BCP exercising of the plans & disaster recovery; validate ongoing required testing, gap analysis and gap closure of issues identified during the testing processes.
  • Support the documentation of the crisis management plans and support the Crisis Management organization and teams across Europe
  • Support on-going activities to ensure 3rd party vendors BCPs meet business and regulatory requirements.
  • Project management activities in the roll-out of BCP automated tools
  • Ensure that internal and external crisis communication guidelines are in place to meet GE Capital policy and establish recurring training agenda for local (site) management teams
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 year’s business continuity experience in operational management.
  • Prior experience in Business Impact Analysis, Risk Assessments, Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery
  • Proven influencing skills and the ability to liaise with different levels in the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple on-going projects.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
