| Job Purpose Commercial leadership position for Gleevec and The Alliance, our patient management program in Hematology for Jakavi, Tasigna, Exjade and Gleevec. Major Accountabilities Lead the development and implementation of Gleevec and The Alliance strategy across Canada, working in close collaboration with key functional areas and external suppliers; Maintain full accountability for financial forecasts, brand performance, promotional tools, programs, budgets and supply of Gleevec in GIST; Develop, implement and manage all promotional initiatives, pharmacy programs, forecasts and budgets for The Alliance; Support brand managers in Hematology on key Alliance initiatives for Jakavi, Tasigna/Gleevec and Exjade; Maintain full accountability for the management of external suppliers (McKesson) and pharmacy chains/banners for Gleevec & The Alliance; Lead a cross functional brand team including Sales, Medical, Policy & Reimbursement, Market Research and Sales to ensure engagement for optimal development and execution of brand indication strategy and roll-out of key innovative programs with The Alliance; Develop and maintain preferred partner relationships with key customers across Canada in collaboration with Sales, Medical and P&R; Lead relationships with key brand suppliers (eg. McKesson), including agency of record; Assume ownership of key internal brand presentations (Business Reviews, Brand Team & Sales Meetings/Training and Cx Brand Plan); Collaborate with Jakavi, Tasigna & Exjade, Brand Managers and leverage brand synergies. | |
| Education : Bachelor's degree in Business or Health Sciences, advanced studies in business/marketing (MBA) an asset. Years of experience: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in Pharmaceutical Sales AND at least 2 years in a commercial role (Marketing, Training or Marketing Intelligence) Language: Bilingualism (English and French) a strong asset Other: 2-4 years of previous marketing experience required at the ABM or BM level (Specialty experience in Oncology is a strong asset); experience in patient management program, LOE initiatives and management of external suppliers; Self-motivated individual characterized by desire to exceed stretch goals on a consistent basis; Highly collaborative team-player – Works well in groups; Demonstrates high-energy & enthusiasm, team spirit and is a convincing motivator of others; Strong planning/organizational skills; Ability to generate new concepts and ideas which improve understanding of a situation and/or create competitive advantage (innovates); Can seamlessly translates analytics to strategy to tactical plans; Values execution and gets things done; Superior oral and written communication skills, with ability to simplify concepts into executional imperatives for self and others. |
