Investment Analyst II (Job Number: 1317217)

Description

The Investment Analyst will provide support to the Investment Counsellor in managing client relationships. Responsibilities: Preparation of customized portfolio strategy recommendations for clients, including Investment Policy Statement design, portfolio/manager structure and the selection of investment managers. Design strategy implementation plans for each client and effectively liaise with the administrative team to ensure that strategies are implemented with timeliness and accuracy. Quarterly, at minimum, qualitative and quantitative analysis of each client's individual portfolio. Participate in the preparation of a customized quarterly letter regarding each client s investment portfolio and results. Assist the Investment Counsellor in the preparation for client meetings/presentations and attend client meetings regularly. Special projects as identified.

Qualifications

Requirements/Education: Undergraduate degree or diploma required. A focus in accounting, business or finance preferred but not required. 3 years or more of relevant experience. CFA Charterholder or CFA candidate required. Completion of CSC preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Well developed interpersonal skills. Excellent knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Strong organizational / prioritization skills and ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure. Strong soft skills and ability to work independently as well as be a strong team player.
