A highly motivated self-starter to join our institutional sales team. Reporting to the Business Development Manager for a specific territory; the qualified candidate will provide BCA's strategy services to top-tier global investment banks, institutional money managers, hedge funds, private banks and pension funds.
Objective: To manage and develop commercial added-value relationships with BCA’s North American Client base
Core responsibilities:
  • Executing all stages of the sales cycle from initial phone contact, to placing trials, through to negotiating and closing agreements
  • Executing well-defined added-value account management strategies
  • Managing commercial relationships at CIO / CEO level and talking with authority concerning the financial markets and investment strategy
Candidates possessing the below attributes will be considered for the role:
  • An undergraduate degree, preferably in commerce, finance or economics
  • Experience in the financial services industry, preferably within investment management
  • A proven track record of using consultative sales techniques and account management strategies to influence, negotiate, gain commitment, and develop relationships with senior investment professionals
  • Strong commitment to teamwork matched with the ability to work creatively and independently
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Ability to write clear and compelling proposals
  • Thorough understanding of the North American banking sector
  • Sound business and professional ethics
  • Good IT skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel
