The Application Management Services (AMS) organization, part of IBM Global Business Services is looking for energetic people who excel in the technical aspects of application development -- people who can help IBM build innovative IT solutions to help our clients transform their business to gain competitive advantage and grow. Our clients include Fortune 500 firms, large government agencies, smaller retailers and other organizations.

Business Analytics & Optimization (BAO) AMS team is looking for an experienced OpenText ECM Consultant. Enterprise Content Management (ECM), focuses on the services, technologies and processes used to capture, manage, store, preserve, and deliver unstructured content. It includes the techniques and systems that provide global access and management of digital assets used to collaborate and share information between a company and its customers, suppliers, employees and business partners.

In the role of ECM Consultant, you will provide expertise and knowledge to IBM clients by addressing individual and unique business needs and implementing solutions and processes to help them manage their information and content related issues.

You will utilize your technical and consulting skills, business knowledge, and expertise to effectively design, implement and integrate ECM document management and imaging solutions into the clients’ business environments in order to achieve client expected business results. You must be able to establish your credibility and build trust with client organizations.

You will call upon your experience in designing and implementing OpenText or other Content and Document Management solutions to perform a wide range of activities such as requirements analysis, process design and system implementation.

Basic Qualifications:
• Track record in Enterprise Content Management, including: Document or Records Management, Imaging/Workflow and Archiving.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately analyze information and make sound decisions.
• Knowledge and experience working throughout the System Development Life Cycle.


Preferred Skills:
• Prior consulting or large project experience in the ECM marketplace
• Working knowledge of ECM design and implementation best practices and patterns
• Able to complete functional and technical designs, models, components, code, unit test and documentation.
• Prior application development skills specifically related to ECM
• Experience with structured methodologies and tools


Professional Skills:
• Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Required
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 10 years experience in Content Server (Livelink) Administration
  • At least 10 years experience in Oscript and .Net or Java development
  • English: Fluent
