IBM Global Business Services is currently seeking an experienced SAP Security consultant who will be responsible for technical / functional security design, development, testing, implementation, support, and documentation of Security roles and objects within an SAP environment (ABAP, Portal and Java). You have a solid business background in your field, hands-on experience in consulting, and SAP Application Architecture and Security. Working in this core area of our business, you will be instrumental in helping us to continue to be recognized as the premiere SAP implementer in Canada. Candidates may serve as team members or team leads and be able to work independently on client sites. We are looking for consultants that can build credibility and trust. Qualifications: • Broad understanding in architecture methods and practices of an SAP environments, modules, and capabilities • Ability to gather requirements; inherit constraints and standards; conceptual design; detailed design. Component selection; interfaces; non-functional requirements; etc. Method driven • Experiencing in creating design deliverables. Understands how to facilitate discussions around trade-offs between requirements, constraints, costs, etc. • Ability to delegate detailed design elements to functional, BASIS, ABAP SMEs, and integrate their designs into an overall solution design • Has one or two areas of specific expertise (ex: a functional area + BI/BW) • Ability to operate effectively in the context of a project, consulting demeanor • Effective coaching and knowledge transfer skills. Able to lead a team providing guidance, mentorship and direction • Excellent technical, analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, written and verbal communication and self-management skills

Required Bachelor's Degree English: Fluent
